Our Top 5 Outfits for Your Boudoir Session

Scheduling and planning your photoshoot are the easier parts of this process – the hard part comes next: deciding what to wear!

If you’re worried about what you’re going to wear for your boudoir photoshoot, worry no more! We’ve got all your concerns covered. We understand how easy it is to fret over every possible existing option, so we’ve went ahead and decided to give you some pointers to consider before your session.

Bra and Panties Set

The first outfit idea that might immediately pop into your mind is the matching bra and panties set – after all, it is a classic. The option to go with the set can also fit into a variety of different styles. Whether the look you’re seeking is sporty, classy, girly or innocent, there is bound to be a set that aligns with your tastes. No matter what you’re thinking in terms of selecting your set, if you are comfortable in it you are bound to look amazing!

The “Magic Suit”

Not only do I adore this selection on everyone I shoot, it’s also my personal favorite. Bodysuits are truly magical because they flatter every body type! There are so many different varieties of bodysuits: lace, velvet, long sleeve or sleeveless, mesh, glitter suits and so much more. You name it and we don’t doubt you’ll be able to find the body suit for you. P.S. don’t worry about getting a little body suit wedgie during your shoot, embrace it! We always joke about wedgies in the studio. They’ll make your booty look fantastic!

The Relaxed Tee

If you’re really indecisive about what to wear, sometimes sticking with the simplest option can be one of the best for your photoshoot. Since they’re simple and inexpensive, you don’t have to worry about stretching it whenever you pull it up or down for different poses. They’ll also give you the opportunity for a variety of poses. You can go for a wet t-shirt look for your photos, or you can get creative and cut it into a crop top or just enough so that you can rip it off!

The Wrap Dress

Just because it’s not lingerie doesn’t mean we can’t make it sexy! Sometimes the sexiest part about your photos are the things you can’t see. Teasing is pleasing! During your shoot you’ll just need to give a little peak as to what’s underneath. Otherwise, a wrap dress can be a decent option for you.

The Birthday Suit

Although most of our clients choose not to go nude for their sessions, we find that later on a lot of them wish they did! We also acknowledge that the idea of going nude in your photos can be a terrifying one. We would never require you to do anything that you’re uncomfortable with, but all we ask is that you merely consider the option. Those that do take advantage of this option truly embrace themselves and their beauty in their own skin, walking away with an empowering experience. Even though this won’t count as one of your outfits, we really urge you to consider the experience.

Still not sure you have everything you need for your dream outfits? We totally got you covered, girl! We have our own boudoir closet in our studio that has almost every style imaginable in a large variety of sizes. No matter what outfits you decide on, we’ll make sure you leave feeling as sexy as you truly are!
