The women on our studio walls, social feeds, and website are real women. These women are not models, they are our clients that are beautiful inside and out, just like you. These women love their bodies and who they are, exactly as they are! Our goal is to make sure that every woman that walks into our studio feels their beauty and confidence shine.
Every woman will feel that their true beauty is all that can be seen in their photographs. Therefore, photoshop is used very minimally- if at all! Your body is beautiful and needs no editing. Everything that is real about your body should be showcased. Retouching your photos is what we do, but we will never take out anything that makes you who you are. If nothing is changed within photographs that is real, what exactly is retouching?
What is Retouching?
Retouching is basically the polishing of an image. In this sense, retouching is used to enhance parts of the image. Color, white balancing, and cropping may be done, but nothing truly changes on your body.
Retouching leaves you just as you are, only enhancing parts of the image. The goal is to make sure that the parts that make you who you are, stay in the pictures. If you have scars, tattoos, or stretch marks, all of these make you exactly who you are meant to be and stay just as they are!
What do we Retouch?
The aspects that are retouched are ones that will fade in a short time. Did you wake up with a pimple? Do not worry! We will retouch that. Did you bump your leg on something leaving a bruise? We will take care of that for you! We will also soften your skin, but we will not make you look plastic- that is not our style!
Your body tells the story of your life. It can tell what you have accomplished, where your life has taken you, and how truly amazing you are! The wrinkles that have crept in around your eyes show that you love to laugh and smile. Your scars show the wars that you have fought and won. Stretch marks show the child that you have grown with your body. Our studio’s main goal is that every woman knows that your past has built you and brought you to the beautiful woman that you are today.
