What do you do for a living?
Currently a SAHM going to school full time.
What made you decide to do a boudoir session?
It was something I always wanted to do, but I never had the courage. After having my son, I felt a little self conscious so I figured doing a boudoir session would help boost my self confidence again. And it did!
Did you have any fears about boudoir photography going into your session?
I didn’t exactly have fears, but I did feel nervous.
Was the session different from what you expected it to be?
It was! In the best way possible. I didn’t expect to feel so self empowered and so confident with my own body. It was a great experience and Ayla was amazing at guiding me in which poses to do. I felt at ease.
What was the best part about your experience?
I honestly cannot just choose one part as the best part. The overall experience was great.
What were you feeling and/or thinking when you first saw your photographs?
I felt so excited! I loved each and everyone of them. At the time I thought, “damn, she did really good taking these!” They really did look beautiful.
Any advice you would give to other women when thinking about their own boudoir session?
Honestly, if you’re planning on doing a boudoir shoot but you’re kind of on the fence about it.. GO FOR IT! Seriously, you’re going to wish you had done it sooner! I do not regret it at all and the confidence boost I got from doing it felt so good! One thing though I wish I had known, is to wear something tight fitting. After looking at my pictures, I have to say that if I could do it differently, I would choose a more tight fitting outfit to accentuate my curves and body better.
Did this session change the way you saw yourself and your beauty?
Yes, it did!
What products did you order and what did you think about them when you received them?
I didn’t order anything this time around, but as part of a boudoir model call, I did get a print and my thought about it is.. next time I do a boudoir shoot, I’m definitelt ordering more prints!!
