Ms. S – Tacoma WA Boudoir Photographer

Tell us about you, anything you want to share. How old are you? What do you do for a living?
Etc. I’m 23, I work as a sales rep for a construction equipment rental company. I’m a bold and outgoing girl with a big personality, my biggest passion is animals.

Tell us about everything that lead up to your session. This could be a story about your past that you want to share. Also, things like; What made you decide to do a boudoir session? Did you have any fears about boudoir photography going into your session?
I decided to do a boudoir session per the suggestion of my friend Sammie. She raved about Ayla and I wanted to try. I wanted a gift for my soon-to-be husband. We were married a month after my shoot and he received the album as a birthday present 🙂 I truly didn’t know what to expect. I lost about 75 lbs last year and knew that i was more confident in my body and wanted to show that off.

Tell us about your session! Was the session different from what you expected it to be? What was the best part of your session? What were you feeling and thinking when you first saw your photographs? What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.
My session was great, I had a beautiful glam look done by Jessica. It was about what I expected. I enjoyed looking over my photos when I was done. I actually said out loud “holy s**t, is that me?” I felt so sexy and beautiful looking at my photos. I have spent a long time resenting my body and I’m finally at a point where I can see myself clearly.

The nitty-gritty! Any advice you would give to other women when thinking about their boudoir session? What products did you order and what did you think about them when you received them? How did you like working with Ayla and the team?
I would tell other women to just go for it, leave your inhibitions at the door. You can be anyone you want to be through the lens. I ordered a linen bound album, it is absolutely stunning! I enjoyed my session with Ayla so much.
