Etc. I’m a 33 yr old optician, foster parent, wife and so much more.
Tell us about everything that lead up to your session. This could be a story about your past that you want to share. Also, things like; What made you decide to do a boudoir session? Did you have any fears about boudoir photography going into your session?
I am a survivor. I have overcome so much in life. As a kid I had cancer and had a stem cell transplant. Then just this January I almost lost again when what I thought was a cold turned out to be double pneumonia and heart failure. Triple bypass and im doing much better. I went into my shoot just wanting to feel fierce. To feel sexy. To reclaim a body that has tried to fail me on many occasions. My goals were achieved and this shoot was amazing.
Tell us about your session! Was the session different from what you expected it to be? What was the best part of your session? What were you feeling and thinking when you first saw your photographs? What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.
I was a little nervous when I showed up but immediately felt so comfortable! I was greater by Ayla and between her directions, hair and make up. Man I was feeling myself! I felt so pretty, so sexy. After going through my session then sitting down and going through the photos. I was amazed. My self image has never been great. Seeing myself on that screen. I was shocked. I looked and couldn’t believe it was me. It was so fulfilling and empowering. I felt so good about my session and the final images.
The nitty-gritty! Any advice you would give to other women when thinking about their boudoir session? What products did you order and what did you think about them when you received them? How did you like working with Ayla and the team?
Think outside the box. Get a few stable items. But also remember that Ayla has some great pieces in the closet as well. Go in and relax and let Ayla lead the way. I loved the products I ordered. The album is beautiful. So well made and absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to have another session in the future
