I am a nearly 40 mama to four kiddos. I work as a fitness trainer and coach, and am working towards becoming a yoga instructor.
Tell us about everything that lead up to your session. This could be a story about your past that you want to share. Also things like: What made you decide to do a boudoir session? Did you have any fears about boudoir photography going into your session?
I love putting my sexuality and sensuality out there – I see no reason why motherhood can’t coexist with sexuality, and I see no reason why we can’t share that. The less we talk about it, the less we learn from one another. And that does no one any good. If I can share of myself, and share my comfort in sexuality, maybe it will help others, too. Part of my why for doing this is to remember who *I* am; and that I am far more than a wife and mother.
Tell us about your session! Was the session diffrent from what you exspected it to be? What was the best part about your session? What were you feeling and/or thinking when you first say your photographs? Did your session change the way you saw yourself and your beauty? Etc.
I LOVED that it was outdoors – we had so much fun finding cool little spaces in DT Tacoma, and there’s something super freeing about being a little scandalous in broad daylight. I was blown away when I saw the photos. They looked exactly as I had imagined them as we were taking them, and that feeling just explodes out of the photos.
The nitty gritty! Any advice you would give to other women when thinking about their own boudoir session? What products did your order and what did you think about them when you recived them? How did you like working with Ayla?
Be brave, go for it, and trust Ayla. Sister knows what she’s doing and will make you feel amazing. Once you feel amazing, the rest is easy. We ordered photos that will end up on the walls in the living room and bedroom.

I truly loved the experience. Ayla was amazing – easy to trust and easy to work with. Her ideas were spot on, and every photo was just beautiful. It felt collaborative, but with her expert guidance so I didn’t go off the rails. The whole thing felt entirely classy, never cheesy. I would highly recommend her.
